I’m so excited to welcome you to your Winter Pine Christmas Mini Session!

This guide will help you prepare for your photoshoot, know what to expect, and get you (and your little ones!) feeling excited for a magical festive experience.

The Winter Pine Christmas Set

This year’s Christmas setup has been created with so much love and care — I’ve poured my heart into every detail to bring you a set that feels cosy, timeless, and full of festive wonder.

The room is filled with the fresh scent of pine, setting the scene for the centrepiece — a beautiful pine window arch framed with evergreens and softly glowing twinkling fairy lights. Beside it stands a sparkling Christmas tree, surrounded by a scattering of wrapped presents and some festive props to keep your little ones smiling and entertained.

The overall feel stays true to my natural, signature style — soft, warm, and simple, with a gentle touch of traditional Christmas charm. Add some festive tunes and you’ve got the perfect atmosphere for capturing joyful, genuine Christmas memories.

Styling Advice

To help you plan outfits that complement the set, I’ve put together a few ideas on my Instagram Highlights — feel free to take a look, and if you spot anything you love, I can send you direct links.

We’ll have time for a quick outfit change during your session, so please bring along an extra option if you’d like a bit of variety.
Here are a few styling ideas that work beautifully with the Winter Pine setup:

Traditional Christmas Colours: Deep reds, forest greens, and soft creams
Textures: Knits, corduroy, velvet, or sparkly details
Themes: Christmas jumpers, festive pyjamas, or smart party outfits

To help keep the set looking lovely and clean for everyone, please remove outdoor shoes before stepping onto the backdrop. You’re welcome to bring a clean pair of party shoes or socks that coordinate nicely with your child’s outfit — or go barefoot for an adorable, natural look.

Of course, these are just suggestions — the most important thing is that your children feel comfortable and happy. These are your photographs, so please dress your little ones in whatever feels right for your family.

On the day

Please arrive on time and in your chosen first outfit, as sessions are scheduled back-to-back and I want to make the most of your time. If you arrive late, this may shorten your session.

When you arrive, head upstairs to the waiting area, and I’ll come to greet you as soon as I’m ready. Each child is different, so the size of your final gallery will depend on how your little ones engage during the session — but don’t worry, we’ll keep things relaxed and fun!

The remaining balance of £70 is due on the day and can be paid via cash or bank transfer.

After the shoot

Shortly after your session, you’ll receive an online viewing gallery filled with your beautiful images. From there, you can select your favourite photos. Once your chosen images are confirmed, I’ll complete a final edit with any gentle retouching to ensure each one looks perfect.

If you’d like, there’s also a few upgrade options — perfect for Christmas gifts or to display proudly in your home. An order form will be sent to you upon receipt of your gallery.
